At 3 p.m.BOPS will present an after school program at the Esparto Library. See the attached flier and link to the Daily Democrat for more details. Program is free for adults and children. BOPS will donate a copy of Carl Hiaasen's book Hoot to the library

February 24th, Thursday
California Burrowing Owl Consortium meeting at the Bufferlands in Elk Grove. Check "Consortium" tab.  Details will be posted as they are available by the host. BOPS has been invited to speak about its mission, activities and future projects.

February 26th, Saturday
BOPS will have an educational table at Yolo Basin Foundation's Duck Days. Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area Headquarters, 45211 County Road 32B, Davis, CA 95618 from 9 to 4 p.m. We will be selling Dusk Buster t-shirts and other educational items.

March 3rd
Ursula Heffernon, our Education Director will present at the Vacaville Town Square Library Vacaville Public Library - Town Square, 1 Town Square Place Vacaville, CA 95688 on March 3rd at 4 pm for 1-6th graders focusing on Carl Hiaasen's book Hoot
